The Servant of God, Anne-Gabrielle Caron was a French 8-year-old child. She developed Ewing's sarcoma, a rare and virulent bone cancer and suffered from it for 2 years. She expressed discomfort due to her situation but used her pain to reflect on the meaning of life. She developed a deep devotion to the Holy Eucharist and, towards the end of her life, received Communion everyday. Her cause for sainthood continues.
