Newly married but living as celibates? How? Why?
In this episode, Travis and Rigel explore the Catholic Church's teachings on marriage and sexuality, emphasizing the indissolubility of the marital union and its ordering toward new life.
Travis’s wife joins them to discuss their experiences coming to the Catholic faith and how it shaped their understanding of marriage. They discuss the importance of being countercultural and living out Christian values, and how doing so led them to live as brother and sister for nearly a year while they awaited the results of Travis’s petition to have his first (and invalid) marriage annulled.
This is the episode for anyone interested in, confused by or uncertain about the Catholic Church’s teachings on sexuality, marriage, divorce and annulments. We think you will find it edifying and motivating!
