Today marks 100 days since President Donald Trump began his second term. A new Pew Research Center study examines how religious groups in the U.S. are responding to his early weeks in office. The survey finds that white evangelical Protestants remain among Trump’s strongest supporters, with 72% approving of his performance. Among white Catholics, approval stands at 51%, while a sharp contrast is seen among Hispanic Catholics, with 73% disapproving of his handling of the presidency. Chip Rotolo, a research associate with Pew’s Religion and Public Life team, joins to discuss the findings and compare the numbers with former President Biden's first days. Lastly, he shares what other religious-based surveys Pew Research might have planned for the future.
