Finance and investing are convoluted enough. Most people don’t know how to invest, are too scared to invest or don’t know what to invest in. If you have gotten to the stage where you have started investing, your primary concern is probably getting a good return on your investment. But as Catholics, we know that money is not the primary concern. As Catholics, we have to think about where our money is going.
Are the companies we are investing in ethical? Beyond that, do they promote policies that are explicitly contrary to what we believe in?
It can all seem very overwhelming, but don’t be discouraged! We have Andrew DeBerry on with us today to tell us about the work he’s doing with Arimathea Capital. This company exists to walk alongside Catholics, to help them be good stewards of their capital and to be in financial alignment with Catholic Social Teaching.
