The Voluntary Human Extinction Movement (VHEMT) is a group that advocates for the extinction of the human race by encouraging people to not have children. In today's episode, we chat with Dr. Richard Clements who wrote an article about this group for Word on Fire Ministries.

We discuss why such a radical ideology is catching on and why people are adopting this mentality. Among the chief arguments for choosing to go along with this movement is concern for the biosphere with claims that human beings are parasitic and the extinction of the human race will lead to the recovery of the biosphere.

We talk about the real dangers about movements like this which are not what they seem to be on the surface of it. To really get at the crux of the matter, we have to understand socioeconomic trends and human nature.
