@TruthUnites uses St. Augustine to attempt to suggest that perhaps Matthew 16:16-20 is referring to something other than the Papacy and Petrine succession. Although I respect Dr. Gavin Ortlund tremendously and agree with much of what he has to say in his video, I also disagree with some of the things he suggests; I will interact with his remarks in the most cordial and ecumenical way I can. WHO is the ROCK in Matthew 16:18? Is it Peter? Is it Peter's confession? Is it Christ? Maybe no one knows.
