Holy Week began with the celebration of Palm Sunday. Last year, Pope Francis abstained from reading the homily due to his health condition, and this year, once again, the Holy Father was unable to regularly preside over the celebration as he continues his convalescence. The Holy See has confirmed Easter liturgies in the coming days, but there is no indication yet whether the Pope will take part in the celebrations and, if so, to what extent.
