A senior Russian negotiator, Kirill Dmitriev, is in Washington D.C. to meet with top Trump official Steve Witkoff between April 2-3 to discuss strengthening U.S.-Russia relations and working toward ending the war in Ukraine. This marks the first time a Russian official has visited the U.S. since the war began in 2022. Rebekah Koffler, author of Putin's Playbook and host of the Censored But Not Silenced podcast, joins to provide insight into Dmitriev's role in the Russian hierarchy, tensions between the U.S. and Russia, and the possibility of a ceasefire.
