While the White House says dozens of nations are contacting the Trump administration in an effort to negotiate trade deals, China is apparently not one of them and has instead upped its tariffs on U.S. goods from 84 percent to 125 percent. The U.S. import tax on China, meanwhile, is now 145 percent.
