As soon as your non-Catholic friend finds out you're Catholic, they may share 4-5 memorized verses in the Bible that supposedly teach that Jesus marginalized, insulted, disparaged, rebuked, or even minimized Mary. Perhaps he even said she was not worthy to be called his mother (so he called her "woman" because she simply wasn't a faithful disciple).
