As Holy Week begins, thousands of Christians from Iraq and around the world gathered in the historic town of Qaraqosh, also known as Hamdaniya, to celebrate Palm Sunday. This event is particularly significant for the city, which was overtaken by ISIS ten years ago, leading to a mass exodus of its Christian population. While ISIS was defeated in 2017, many Christians have been hesitant to return. Now, the faithful participate in a colorful and joyful procession through the streets, a powerful testimony of faith, resilience, and hope. EWTN News' Daniel Sada reports.
