Today marks a solemn anniversary: on March 18, 2005, twenty years ago, a feeding tube was removed from Terri Schiavo, a case that captured national attention. A judge ruled in favor of removing the tube at her husband's request, despite her family's plea to keep it in place. Terri tragically died of starvation and dehydration nearly two weeks later. Her story inspired her brother, Bobby Schindler, to advocate for families facing similar situations. Bobby Schindler, President of the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network, joins us to reflect on the solemn anniversary of his sister's passing. Bobby discusses the lasting impact of Terri's case on the right-to-life movement, the role of Catholic faith in their journey, and the ongoing fight to protect the medically vulnerable. He also addresses the rise of euthanasia laws in the U.S. and their implications for society's view of the human person.
